Hi, I’m Doug, the owner of One Service-Targeted Pest Control.
I grew up in Northwest Wisconsin and moved to the Green Bay area in 2007.
Soon after moving I married my wife, Heidi, who works in healthcare.
We live in De Pere with our little Boston Terrier Chip.
I enjoy connecting with and communicating with people, so when I started in the pest control industry in 2016, it felt like a perfect fit. I like working with homeowners, apartment dwellers, and property managers to find solutions to the pest problems unique to their situation. I am certified by the State of Wisconsin in three pest control categories – Structural, Turf and Landscape, and Termites.
MY COMPANY
I named my company One Service–Targeted Pest Control to remind myself of my two main goals:
1. Target my client’s pest problem while protecting beneficial insects and animals.
2. Resolve the problem with the fewest possible visits.
In other words – I want to be your one call, one solution to target your specific pest issue.
MY APPROACH
The One Service approach to pest control is different than many other companies.
We don’t try to sign you up for a monthly service, treating the same area with inexpensive products over and over again. Instead, we approach every client and their pest problem as unique and develop a treatment plan targeting your needs. We use high-quality products and apply a custom Integrated Pest Management program (click here to learn more about IPMs) which includes not only pesticide application but also pest exclusion, taking into account the life cycle and behavior of the specific insect or animal involved.
How much will this cost me?
That’s a good question – every home, business, and pest problem is different. At One Service-Targeted Pest Control we work to keep our pricing as economical as possible, without compromising by using cheap or watered-down products or cutting corners in application methods.
A typical barrier treatment (treating along the foundation, around windows and doors and all other entry points to prevent bugs from getting inside your home) for a 1,500 square foot ranch is usually between $100 - $135.
What should I expect when I call?
When a client contacts me for the first time, we talk about their pest issue and general information about the treatment site. I can usually give an estimated price range over the phone, based on the size of the home or area and the pests involved. If that price range is acceptable we will set up an appointment where I can look over the treatment area in person and give you an exact cost for treatment. No additional taxes or fees are applied – the agreed upon price is the actual cost to the customer. The initial treatment can typically be done on that visit.
